Maptech MapServer

Maptech MapServer enables searching and viewing of Maptech's entire collection of topographical and nautical charts.  The topographical maps are produced from data compiled by the National Mapping Division of the U.S. Geological Survey.  Currently, MapServer contains USGS topographic maps at the 1:24,000 scale and the 1:100,000 scale.   MapServer also contains most NOAA nautical charts at a variety of scales covering all coastal areas of the U.S.  These charts are produced through a Cooperative Research and Development Agreement with the National Ocean Service of NOAA.  The maps retrieved on MapServer can be printed, emailed to colleagues, and saved for a specified location. Map coverage areas may also be purchased from Maptech.  Map coverage areas are bundled on CD-ROMs and can be packaged with Maptech's Terrain Navigator or Terrain Professional software.
